This is what I just sent to Mary Ann who asked me for info. You may want to know and send it to other sisters & friends of the Assumption.
Besides CNN, BBC, youtube, I post regularly on my FB page, private videos received on Leyte and other places.
At the moment, there’s a mass collection of sacrifice money going on in ACSanlo. Anna C is coordinating with Caritas.
We continue to receive PM through FB as well as email from so many people wanting to help. Delphine called last night prompted by her own community.
I spent a good part of my morning helping TDevs and our own accountant at MEI locate, get in touch with their families in Leyte -
sadly, to no avail as their towns are still out of communication. Anna sent home one desperate personnel of the water station
by roro to Tacloban just now to find his family. I’ve never seen such pain yet...at the same time there’s the will to survivie and rise again !
We got in touch with Stella of Passi at lunchtime. H.Sch classes continue as the elementary classes are sharing their classrooms and corridors ! They ’re trying to save some of the computers that are left, testing, repairing... She sounds undaunted and I’d like to believe
the kids know both how to cry and how to stand on their feet. Assumpta est Maria !
Feel free to share with Assumption sisters and friends.
Here are the 3 Dollar Bank Accounts that receive donations for victims of typhoon Yolanda :
Branch 0924-Iloilo Solis
Swift code : BOPIPHMM
Assumption College, Inc.
San Lorenzo Arnaiz Branch
Philippine Province of the Religious of the Assumption
Metrobank, San Lorenzo Arnaiz Brance

For Assumption Passi and other Panay victims (badly hit !), it’s better to send straight to Iloilo and inform Jo or Margie.
For Leyte, AC San Lorenzo is coordinating with Caritas Manila = worst disaster of all ! Many of our staff and maintenance
come from Leyte and have no communications till now with their families, while death toll and TV, youtube continue to
broadcast damage in places that couldn’t be reached during the first 3 days. Inform Anna Carmela or me.
For any other places you want to help, send to PPRA account. Please inform Fe Eml.
I am in contact with Sheryl by cellphone as she’s out of town for this week.
Please thank all your friends for the concern. We deeply appreciate it. So many people are suffering.
I’m trying to contact our dear Virgilie Napuli (a former RA) to no avail up to now (southern Leyte).
