Today we had a chance to deepen two different topics which are essential for our liturgical life ; the universal prayer and the Adoration in the Assumption.
The universal prayer
Universal prayer is the fruit of our interior life. It should help us to learn to interiorize what we listen both outside and inside of us. It is a prayer that invites us to practice our priesthood which we received through the virtue of our baptism.
Being enlightened and moved by God’s word, we practice our priesthood and function by interceding for all humanity, for the salvation of the world.
These Universal prayers should be said loudly because liturgy is a public mission.
Adoration in the Assumption
Adoration in Assumption is an aspect that has a meaningful part in our growth. Different sisters expressed that ; for them adorations has become part of their lives ; it is a place where we recognize our emptiness before God, and learn how to let ourselves to be filled by Him .It is a place that we encounter Christ and learn how to love.
RL N. 42 Adoration helps us to be humble and recognize who we are before our creator. And contemplate His rights.
